Welcome to Worksop & District Table Tennis League
Formed in 1935, the aim of the league is to promote and encourage the game of Table Tennis at all levels within the Worksop area. We are keen to encourage new players to join and if you are interested in finding a club then please click on the ‘Club Contacts’ tab for details of people who would be delighted to help you find a club. Our main season operates between September and April each year offering weekly league matches and various Cup competitions which are listed below with a Summer League for players who want to keep their eye in over the summer break:
• Winter League (Three divisions) and Summer League.
• Closed Championships - Senior, Junior and Veterans competitions.
• A league knockout team handicap competition – The Mike Tunningley Shield.
• Divisional team handicap competitions – David Hooton Trophy, Reg Wilcox Trophy and The MBE Trophy.
• A pairs handicap knockout competition – Carnation Cup.
