In honour of the late Tommy Brown and in recognition of all the years he gave to our League and table tennis in our area the committee have decided unanimously to purchase a new Sporting Award Trophy and from this season forward it will now be known as The Tommy Brown Sporting Award Trophy.
For the many players in our League that knew Tommy, we think it's a perfect fit.

Through Andy Lee the Worksop League has nominated Peter Cowburn for a Young People Of The Year Award for his work on and off the table within our league.

There are still 48 players who haven't either renewed or registered their Table Tennis England (ETTA) Individual Registration for the forthcoming season.
Can I remind those players that if they play a match in The Worksop & District Table Tennis League without a valid individual licence then any sets won will not count and may affect their teams result.

Glyn Williams has all Stanley Street teams.
Phil Hall has Manton Tigers.
Glen Gillgrass has On-Line Elks.
Andy Lee will have all Ryton Park teams on Monday night.
Mick Bell will have MBE on Monday night.
John Lowde will have Manton Sports on Monday night.
Rob Vaughan has both Manton Misfits and Manton Nomads.
