Please note this year's Formation Meeting on the 12th of August is not being held in the main room at Stanley Street Club but the small room just after the entrance to the bar on the left hand side as you walk in.
You will not be required to stay once you have dropped off the appropriate forms and payments.
Once the Committee know the exact number of teams that have entered for next season they will be ranked in order of ability (obviously taking into account promotion and relegation from last season) and then split into an even number of teams per division.  I.E. if we have 24 teams enter then there will be 3 Divisions with eight teams in each Division.
If there are an odd number of teams say 23 in total then there will be 8 in Div.1, 8 in Div.2 and 7 in Div.3 and so on.
Any players dropping off the Team Registration Forms at the Formation Meeting who may like to participate in a Practice Session will be made more than welcome at the Tuesday Night Sessions taking place just up the road at Worksop Leisure Centre.
Usual Prices apply: £2.00 for Juniors (under 18) and Senior Citizens and £3.00 for Adults, further details from Glyn Williams on 07570 126969

It with great sadness that the League have to report the passing away earlier today of Tommy Brown.
Tommy has been and always will be a huge part of the League's history and amongst just some of his achievements in our League were his 12 Open Doubles wins and his 5 Open Singles titles but perhaps Tommy's best achievements came off the table with all the hours he put into our sport in helping and coaching youngsters,  unselfishly running teams for many years from Rhodesia Village Hall and all the many hours spent on the League's Committee where his input was invaluable.
Today we lost not only someone who has played a major part in our League but also a true gentleman.
Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
