The Committee are very keen on entering a team from the Worksop League into the National Cadet League for the forthcoming season.
Each team will consist of 4 players and be played at a fairly local venue such as Gainsborough/Rotherham so the travelling involved wouldn't be that great and each team entered would get a full days play so it would be worthwhile for players to enter.
The cost of entering a team is £75.00 which the League would pay for and we would like to gauge interest in it and with this in mind could any Cadet players or parents of Cadet players please e-mail [email protected] by Tuesday the 22nd of July if interested.

With Howard Knott now retiring from coaching it now leaves Worksop with less options available to us for coaching and with this in mind we would like to ask if there is any player in our League who would like to take their Level 1 Coaching?
Please note that you don't have to be one of the top players to be able to coach and if there is anyone out there that would like to get involved with coaching the future stars of Worksop then please e-mail [email protected] as there maybe some help available towards the cost of the course.

Please note that the Semi-Finals, 3rd Place Play Off Final and Final will ALL now be played on the same night which is Wednesday the 23rd of July at Ryton Park School 7.00pm start.
Matches will be played on four tables.

Due to a dramatic fall in numbers in recent weeks it is now uneconomic for Howard Knott to continue to open Redlands School on Saturday mornings (he intends to review the situation in September).
Anyone wishing to continue to practice on Saturday mornings are more than welcome to attend The Saturday Club at Worksop Leisure Centre.
The sessions starts at 9.00am and finish at 11.45am.
Prices are £2.00 for U 17's and Senior Citizens and £3.00 for Adults.
