Can I remind ALL players to please take responsibilty of ensuring scorecards are ACTUALLY posted and posted on time as a number of scorecards seem to have either gone 'missing' in the post or sent in late.
Can I once again encourage teams to take a picture on their phones of match scorecards as a record which then can be e-mailed or even texted to me if the original one goes missing.
May I also remind you that a late scorecard triggers a £5.00 fine for the home team but I would much rather have scorecards in on time than have to issue fines as it helps in the running of the league.
If for any reason you haven't or can't send in the card please let me know ASAP.

We want to gauge the interest from players in the League running a Summer League at the end of the current season?
Early suggestions are to possibly run it as a two man team playing 2 singles matches each and a doubles similar to the Carnation Cup format.
We appreciate that in the Summer people focus on other things/activities/holidays and with that in mind it would be run on a fortnightly basis at one venue with 5/6 tables such as Ryton Park School.
Dependant on feedback we would run it from around the end of April/early May to the end of June/early July.
Please could players initially e-mail [email protected] with a reply of yes or no so we can get a level of interest.
