Latest News | Worksop Table Tennis League

As the new season is only a few days away can I remind ALL players that they will have to have their Table Tennis England player licence in place PLUS have paid their Worksop League registration fee BEFORE they play a match in the Worksop League.
In addition to the above, their team MUST have also paid their fines from last season so can all players please take responsibilty for your fines.
Any player that plays a match but hasn't met all of the above criteria will have their games scrubbed and if he/she also plays in the doubles then that will be scrubbed as well and this may affect the match score.
It is each individual players responsibility to ensure that they have everything in place before they play and may I also add that if you do not have a valid Table Tennis England licence then you are not covered by their insurance if you have an accident whilst playing.
It is each each players/teams own responsibility to ensure al of the above criteria has been met.
The above also applies to the Hard Bat Competition on Tuesday the 4th of September.

Please note that there will be a practice night at Worksop Leisure Centre tomorrow night for anyone wanting to have a knock before the season starts.
6.45pm to 9.00pm

The fixtures for the new season have now been e-mailed out prior to the Handbooks being distributed as I thought it might help organise your teams for the start of the season.

Further to my post regarding the collection of this season's Handbooks there will be an opportunity for people that haven't paid their Worksop League Registration fees or fines to pay them on the same night as the Hard Bat Competition.
Ben Swain our Treasurer is setting up separate table from the competition organisers between 6.45pm to 7.15pm specifically to receive peoples final registration payments and fines.
May I also remind everyone that if you haven't paid your Worksop League Registration fee and have your Table Tennis England Player Licence in place then you will not be able to play in the Hard Bat Competition or any League game until they are both done.

As we have had so many entries for the Hard Bat coupled with the fact we only have so many tables and a time limit at the Leisure Centre we cannot accept any more entries.
Can I please ask that if you have put your name down to play in the Hard Bat competition and you cannot play, please let me know as I have a someone as first reserve who wants to play.
