A remider that this year's Annual Championships are being held at Worksop Leisure Centre on Sunday the 28th of January and NOT Sparken Hill School.
The room we are using is further down the corridor from the usual room that league matches and practice nights are held so please walk past that room and around the corner.
One other thing to note is that there is a trampoline competition being held on the same day and you may well find the car park full so it has been agreed that we can use the Post 16 car park across the road from the Leisure centre.
We also need some help with the barriers and tables that are being moved from Sparken Hill to the Leisure Centre on Saturday morning – can anyone who can help be there at 9.30 am please.
The tables and barriers will then be moved back to Sparken Hill on the following Tuesday night at so we need help to load them back up at 6.30pm from the Leisure Centre.
Anyone who can help please let me know.

The semi finals and final of this season's Carnation Cup will be played at Sparken Hill on the 14th of March with a 7.00pm start.

The draw for the semi finals of the Mike Tunningley Handicap Shield has now been made.

The League are looking for a few people to help out at the Annual Championships on Sunday the 28th of January.
We need 'runners' to let players know that they are next to play on the tables, update the large draw sheets that will be displayed on the walls and to also bring scorecards back to the organisers table.
If there are any players (or even non-players) that can give up a few hours of their time to help out it would be very much appreciated.

A reminder that the first of the FREE coaching sessions for Junior players that are registered with the league at Redlands with Paul Johnson is this coming Saturday the 13th of January.

Each session will be 2 hours long and start at at 1.30pm and finish at 3.30pm - Please note that Paul's regular weekly coaching sessions will still be running at the same time as the free sessions for a cost of £5.00 per player).
To qualify for the FREE junior coaching you have to obviously be a Junior but also be registered with the Worksop League.
