Further to my earlier post regarding the Saturday Club at Worksop Leisure Centre being closed on the 23rd and 30th of December, Paul Johnson has informed me that Redlands is open on both of these dates for anyone wishing to practice.

Please note that there will be NO Saturday practice session at Worksop Leisure Centre on either the 23rd of December or the 30th of December.
The Saturday Club will resume again on the 6th of January 2018.

Can I ask anyone who played at Worksop Leisure Centre on Tuesday night to please check their bags in case they have picked up someone elses bat by mistake as Bob Atkinson who plays for DTH Redlands Demolition Men has lost his bat and he had it last on Tuesday night in the match with Worksop Owls.
If anyone does come across it then please let me know.

A reminder that tickets for the match between The Worksop Wanderers versus the Croat Crusaders at Redlands Table Tennis Centre this coming Saturday the 16th of December are now available from Howard Knott.
Worksop will be represented by England National Team professional players Sam Walker and David McBeath and they will be up against a Croatian team of Frane Kojic and Filip Cipin.
All players are currently ranked amongst the world’s top 300 players so this really is a fabulous opportunity to view a genuine top class standard of table tennis right on our own doorstep.
If this inaugural event is a success then this could well be the first of many.
The 16th of December will be full on day starting with a morning session of training like a pro followed by access to pre-match practice, the big match itself, post match interviews and perhaps a brief Q and A session (more details to follow).
Once again the date is Saturday the 16th December 2017 at Redlands Table Tennis Centre and for the afternoon the doors will open at 2.30pm with the main event starting start at 4.00pm prompt.
Ticket prices are Senior £8.00, Junior/Concessions £4.00 with a Family Ticket costing £16.00.

A reminder that the deadline for entries for this season's Annual Championships is Saturday the 16th of December.
If you wish to enter this season's championships you can either fill in the form in the handbook or e-mail [email protected] and list the competitions you wish to enter, the cost of each competition and your doubles partner if applicable.
Please also total the amount of your entry at the bottom - example below:
Open Singles - £2.00
Open Doubles (Partner John Smith) - £2.00
Handicap Singles - £2.00
Over 40's Singles - £2.00
Draw Doubles - £2.00
Total - £10.00
Can I also remind players that if you play in either Division Two or Division Three then entry into the Open Singles and Doubles is Free Of Charge.
We are also offering players the chance to pay for their entry electronically rather than send cash and cheques in if they wish to do so (the bank details have been e-mailed out already).
If you do pay electronically can you please make sure that you state the players name as the payment reference
The date for the Championships is Sunday the 28th of January at Worksop Leisure Centre.
