At the recent AGM we asked for volunteers to help out on two events that the League are attending this summer.
On Thursday the 14th of July which is National Table Tennis Day the League are taking 2 tables, along with our robot machine to Clumber Park to be put up in a marquee to let members of the public try their hand at table tennis.
We will be handing out leaflets with details of where people can practice in our League and hopefully we may end up with a few new players in our league.
The second event is also at Clumber Park to attend the Clumber Park Festival Of Sport where again we will have 2 tables plus the robot machine and the dates for this event are Saturday & Sunday the 30th and 31st of July.
I know a few players volunteered to help out at these events at the AGM such as Dave Rix, Ralph Rodda, Jeff Reay, Chris Clemson and Andy Kirkland but can they and anyone else that can help out please confirm which dates they can attend by e-mailing [email protected]

Please find below the rule changes and amendments for this year's AGM.
Addition To Rule 11c (Annual Championships)
A player may only play in a Divisional Competition if he has played in a minimum of one third of league games in the division in which he is registered to play in.
Addition To Rule 15 (Divisional Handicap Cup Competitions)
If the match is drawn then the team who have won the most games will be declared the winners. If both points scored and games won are both equal then the match will be replayed.
Annual Championships
Plate Singles - If a player loses to another player from a lower division in the first round of the Open Singles then they will not be allowed to play in the first round of the Plate Singles.
The date for this years AGM has now changed and will now take place on Tuesday the 31st of May at Stanley Street Club with a 7.30pm start.
Can I remind everyone that at LEAST one player from each TEAM that has played in the 2015/16 season that has just finished must attend the AGM or that team will incur a £10.00 fine as per rule 9c in the League handbook.
For clarity that is one player per team and NOT per club.
