It's The Riauba Brothers, At The Double!!

The last match to be played in the 2013-14 Winter League season was a match was a notable one as for the first time in the League's 79 year history Identical twins won one of the League's Doubles Competitions. Orestas and Martynas Riauba in their debut season in the League overcame Jack Tarr and Keiran Tutter to win the 3rd Division Doubles title. The match which was held over from the Championships Finals nights due to holiday commitments was played at Manton Miners Welfare Club and the Riauba twins made short work of the first two games winning them 11-3 and 11-2 as Tutter and Tarr just couldn't get a look in against some excellent table tennis being played against them. In the third game Tutter and Tarr started to get their own shots going and took an early lead but it was all in vain as back came the Riauba twins to overhaul their opponents to take the game 11-8 and with it the 3rd Division Doubles which finally brought down the curtain on what has been a fabulous season.
