Can I take this opportunity to remind all players that they must wear appropriate coloured clothing in matches.
The ITTF rule 3.02.02.02 states the following: 'The main colour of a shirt, skirt or shorts, other than sleeves and collar of a shirt shall be clearly different from that of the ball in use'.
As we nearly always play with a white ball then wearing a predominantly white shirt, skirt or shorts is not allowed.

Our Chairman Andy Lee and his wife to be Joanne McIntosh are going to be attempting the Worksop Half Marathon in aid of Cancer Research UK.
After only taking up running in January they must be slightly bonkers but they have undertaken 12 weeks of intense training to get in shape!
They have chosen Cancer Research as it's a charity close to them, both having lost family and friends to cancer.

Table Tennis England are hosting a UKCC Level 1 Table Tennis Coaching course starting Sunday 8th November at The Gainsborough Academy, with the closing date for entries onto the course being Friday 23rd October.
