Can I ask that players who are involved in playing in the Summer League don’t just turn up and expect to play without at least putting their own table away after they’ve finished.
It’s not just down to the people that rare running the Summer League to do absolutely everything, week in week out.
A minority of players are not even helping to put equipment away after they have played and are just walking out of the hall and popping themselves off home and leaving it to others to do as frankly, that’s just not good enough.

It is with great sadness that I have to share the news of the passing of John Eyre.
As many of you know, John is the brother of Pete Eyre and played for many years in the Worksop League, firstly in the 1960's for Kingsway Youth Club and then making a return in the 1990's playing for Fire Station.
John was very well liked by all players and officials in the league and will be greatly missed.
If anyone would like to attend John's funeral, it is taking place at Babworth Crematorium on Babworth Road in Retford at 11.00am this coming Monday the 17th of June.
Our condolences go to Pete and the rest of John's family.

A reminder that this year's AGM takes place on Monday the 10th of June at Worksop Miners Welfare on Gateford Road with a 7.30pm start.
A player from each TEAM and not just club needs to attend the meeting or incur a £10.00 fine as per the rules in the handbook.
I am aware that no Redlands teams will be entering the league for next season but a player from each Redlands team that has just finished the 2018/19 season needs to attend or they will be fined.
