Sad news has reached the Worksop & District League of the passing of John Hall at the weekend.
John played for many years in our league and many of our older players will have known John having played against him.
Our condolences go to his family and friends at this sad time.

A massive congratulations to Jack Tarr who was awarded a BEM (British Empires Medal) in the New Years Honours list.
Jack was awarded the honour for services to Sport and the Community as Jack has ben an ambassador for sport, mainly Cricket, Footbal and Table Tennis across Primary Schools in Bassetlaw.
Well done to Jack and thoroughly deserved.

Worksop Welfare Snipers 'A' v Worksop Welfare Snipers 'B'

A massive thank you to everyone who has entered this year's Annual Championships as you have yet again made it a record number of entries!
An amazing 62 players have entered which really is a fabulous effort from everyone.
Please note: It does say on the entry form that the Championships are to be held at Sparken Hill but they are in fact being held at Worksop Leisure Centre.
