As the new season is only a few weeks away can I remind ALL players that they will have to have their Table Tennis England player licence in place PLUS have paid their Worksop League registration fee BEFORE they play a match in the Worksop League.
In addition to the above, their team MUST have also paid their fines from last season.
Any player that plays a match but hasn't met all of the above criteria will have their games scrubbed and if he/she also plays in the doubles then that will be scrubbed as well and this may affect the match score.
It is each individual players responsibility to ensure that they have everything in place before they play and may I also add that if you do not have a valid Table Tennis England licence then you are not covered by their insurance if you have an accident whilst playing.
It is each each players/teams own responsibility to ensure al of the above criteria has been met.
The above also applies to the Hard Bat Competition on Tuesday the 4th of September.

The amount of players using Worksop Leisure Centre on Saturday mornings has now dropped to a level were the facilities are almost becoming non viable.
The situation has now got to the point that we either 'use it' or 'lose it' so can I please encourage as many people as possible to practice there on a Saturday morning.
Starting from Saturday the 25th of August Kay Wilson is going to introduce sessions with the leagues robot practice machine.
There will be two slots available on a Saturday morning, 8.45am to 10.00am and 10.00am to 11.15 with each session costing just £4.00 and will need to be booked with Kay on a first come first served basis.
Remember you can also book a table from 8.45am until 11.15am on Saturday mornings for just £7.00 per table which would be ideal for 4 players playing round robin matches and doubles against each other but if you don't wish to do that then the prices are £2.00 for Juniors and Senior Citizens and £3.00 for Adults for general practice.
Please do try to support the practice sessions as we would hate to lose it.
