Divisional Trophy Finalists Now Known

The finalists for all three Divisional Handicap Trophy competitions have now been confirmed after the last series of group games have been played or not as the case may be. With so many games being conceded in the group stages in all three divisions, a rethink on the format of the competition will no doubt take place before the start of next season.
The final of the MBE Handicap Trophy will be between DTH Redlands Rookies and Sparken Hill Blue Jays. The Blue Jays topped their group after they overcame their club colleagues Sparken Hill Hawks by 422 points to 401 to cement their place in the final after earlier winning their opening group match in the competition and winning their second game after their opposition conceded it.
Their opponents in the final DTH Redlands Rookies made the final without having to hit a ball after their opponents DTH Redlands Rovers had to concede the match as they couldn’t put a team out.
