This years Masters Competition will take place on Tuesday the 28th of April with a 7.00pm start.
The competition will feature 6 of the top players in the Worksop League and once again be held at Stanley Street Club.
Spectators are more than welcome and in fact, are encouraged to come along and support this event as the prize money is put up by our League sponsor DTH Engineering plus if the previous Masters events are anything to go by then you'll be in for a great night of watching some top quality table tennis.
We already know two of the six finalists in Richard Element and Ernest Mpundu as the two players that qualify for the final of the Open Singles automatically gain entry into the Masters.
The other four finalists will be announced after the league season has finished.

Congratulations to Dave Lee and Connor Bettley who last night won the Carnation Cup beating Dean Marsh and Graham Stent 3-2 in the final

The semi-final and final of the Carnation Cup are being held next Wednesday the 4th of March at Sparken Hill with a 7.00pm start.
As John McIntyre is recovering from an operation and therefore out for the rest of the season, there will only be one semi-final played plus the final.

Please note that the Committee has decided to allow Graham Stent to move back down to Division Three despite being ‘tied’ to Worksop Welfare Harriers 'B' after playing up on a number of occasions in Division Two.
Graham has been struggling health wise for a number of weeks playing at the higher level and because of this we have decided to allow him to drop back down into Division Three to play for Worksop Welfare Harriers 'C'
