As the day for the Annual Championships draws ever closer, the need for volunteer helpers gets bigger!
We are in desperate need of people to help out with finding players and getting them on tables to play matches, getting players to score and also updating the draw sheets that are stuck up on the wall at the far end of the building.
If anyone hasn't entered the Championships but can give us some greatly needed help I would be immensly grateful.
Unless we get some help we may have to resort to using a loud speaker system to alert players that they're needed to play which will also mean us enforcing a rule that if a player is not on the table after 5 minutes of their names being shouted out then they will be scrubbed from that particular competition.
Other leagues use this system but the Worksop Committee have always treid not to as it can be off putting for players when announcements are made.
If anyone can very kindly help out the please e-mail me at [email protected]

The draw for this season's Annual Championships can now be found on the 'Championships' page on the league's website.
We have had exactly 50 entries this season which is a great effort considering that the teams from Redlands haven't enetred the league this year.
Thank you for your support
